Lorena Diez - "Lore 10"

Originally from Mar del Plata, Argentina, Lorena Diez has earned a distinguished reputation for her role as a tango organizer, teacher, and DJ, with a rich history of dedicated contributions to Miami's thriving tango community since 2008.

At present, she is the co-organizer and DJ for two prominent Miami-based milongas, Open Air Tango on Lincoln Rd and Las Pebetas Milonga, both of which have been established since 2017.

Lorena's musical style is characterized by her exceptional curation of Golden Age tango classics, complemented by her profound knowledge of the contemporary orchestras currently in vogue within Buenos Aires. Her vibrant and celebratory style has left an indelible mark on tango enthusiasts in Milongas, Festivals & Marathons, spanning from different cities in Florida to Chicago, Mexico, and her native Argentina.

Furthermore, in addition to her musical pursuits, she has displayed her talent as a tango costume designer under her own brand, Sur-Real Designs, a venture she has passionately cultivated since 2010.
